Kit Ferratum includes a system of energy absorption with a heat shrinkable cover. At the onset of a fall, it will activate itself to reduce the impact on the climber. Once activated it must be discarded!

ATTENTION: This is a tear system. In case of fall the energy absorber becomes unusable so someone in the group must carry a spare one or an emergency rope. Otherwise, you cannot continue the progression and should be expected to the rescue team.
